What to Expect

We’ll drive you through the spectacular scenery of the Sunshine Coast to the historic gold mining town of Gympie, the town that saved Queensland from going flat broke.

There’s no time for any traditional gold-panning (which still goes on) because your first stop is the Gympie Clay Target Club, where you can try your hand at clay pigeon shooting in safety and style. You’ll be kitted out with the right equipment and now’s the time you’ll find out if you’re a crack shot or if your friends should be running screaming away from you. (Not really. Safety is the Club’s number one priority).

We think you’ll have worked up an appetite so at lunchtime we’ll chauffeur you to the Pomona Distilling Company, nestled at the foot of Mt Cooroora in the Noosa hinterlands. You’ll receive a warm welcome from the team and have the opportunity to taste some exquisite gins and of course a delicious lunch.

After lunch, indulge in a hoppy delight at a Local Craft Beer Brewery (wildcard choice of Brewery), where you’ll have the opportunity to savour an enticing beer-tasting paddle. Step into a world of flavorful craftsmanship as you sample a variety of finely crafted beers. From hoppy IPAs to smooth stouts, there’s a brew to tantalise every taste bud. Immerse yourself in the artistry of beer-making, as passionate brewers share their expertise and guide you through the flavours and aromas that make each brew unique.

Complimentary door-to-door pick-up and drop-off at all Sunshine Coast locations are included.
For Brisbane pick-up, an additional $320 per group return transfer.
For North Brisbane pick-up, including North Lakes and Caboolture, an extra $280 per group return transfer.

Pick-up Times Flexible

Pick-up times are adjustable for your convenience, with a suggested morning collection around 8:30 am and an evening return at approximately 5 pm

Set your alarms for an early start and prepare for an extraordinary day on our Clay Target Shooting, Gin & Beer Experience. Your journey begins when our friendly driver greets you with a warm welcome aboard our comfortable minibus.

Fasten your seatbelt, select your favourite tunes, and we’ll whisk you away to the historic gold town of Gympie, nestled along the winding Mary River and surrounded by a tapestry of national parks.

Gympie Clay Target Club

Our first destination is the Gympie Clay Target Club, nestled amid the verdant bushland. Here, in the safe and amicable atmosphere, you’ll receive expert guidance, whether you’re a seasoned shooter or a first-timer. Enjoy a compelling two-hour session of clay target shooting, feeling the rush of hitting your mark under the Queensland sky.

Lunch at Pomona Distilling Company

Next, we retreat to the chic and casual Pomona Distilling Company. It’s not just a place to dine; it’s an experience, with its airy spaces, trendy street front, and a hidden gem of a beer garden. Indulge in a scrumptious lunch and immerse yourself in the artisanal world of gin, crafted by Master Distiller Robin Yates.

Taste the local flair in each gin blend, enhanced by the finest juniper berries, and don’t miss the chance to elevate the moment with a handcrafted cocktail (note: gin tasting and cocktails are additional delights on your journey).

Craft Beer Wildcard Stop

As the sun begins its descent, we’ll invite you back to the comfort of our minibus for the final leg of our adventure—a craft beer tasting at one of Sunshine Coast’s esteemed breweries. Here, you’ll engage all your senses: relish the unique flavours of a bespoke beer paddle, share stories and laughter from the day, and soak in the lively brewery ambience.
