What to Expect
Get ready for a ripper day out that’ll have you ooh-ing and aah-ing! This here guided tour is an absolute must-have experience, showing off the dazzling sights of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and dishing up some top-notch local goodies. We’ll swing by and pick you up from your digs, then off we go into the lush, tropical hinterland.
First stop? A lookout that’ll have you gobsmacked – check out those Glass House Mountains at Mary Cairncross Scenic Rainforest Reserve, listed as National Heritage treasures. The views alone are worth the trip.
Then we’ll mosey on over to Maleny, a real dairy gem. At Maleny Food Co, you’ll dive into a spread of local and international cheeses that’ll make your taste buds do a happy dance. While we’re in town, we’ll also stop by Maleny Chocolate, where you can pick up your sweet take-away treats to enjoy later.
Next up, we’ll swing by Gerrards Lookout, where the views just can’t be beat – sweeping coastal vistas that’ll have you reaching for your camera in no time.
After that, it’s tucker time with a scrumptious 2-course lakeside lunch at Secrets on the Lake. Set in the rainforest beside Lake Baroon, it’s a foodie favourite and the perfect spot to relax and soak up the hinterland scenery.
With your appetite sorted, we’ll head to Flame Hill Vineyard for a proper wine tasting experience. Sip and savour a selection of quality local wines while taking in the rolling vineyard views – a fitting way to round out your food and wine adventure.
Before we head back down the range, we’ll make one final stop at Mapleton Falls Lookout, where you can take in the stunning views over the lush Obi Obi Valley.
But like all good things, our adventure has to come to an end. Sit back and relax as we cruise back down the range, filled with flavours, views, and memories from a cracking day out in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
