The Original Eumundi Market is one of the biggest markets in Queensland, Australia. It began in 1979 as a farmer and artisan market, but today, it has more than 600 stalls with 1.6 million visitors each year.

Despite the growth from its humble origins, Eumundi Markets has remained true to the “locally made” values that were important to the original three marketers, making it a fantastic place to experience the Hinterland.

The Eumundi Markets is a great place to visit if you’re on a family holiday. If you want a change from hitting the beach, there is still plenty for the kids to do as you enjoy some shopping. There are kid-friendly stalls along with balloon animals and face painting that will offer your little ones a colourful day and ensure that you have a quiet night when you get back to your accommodation.
